How Should I Choose a Sink?

Publish Time: 2025-10-31

1. For small kitchens, go for a large single sink. If your kitchen is large enough and the sink is 85cm or deeper, consider a double sink.

2. Prioritize undermount sinks. They're easier to clean and prevent mold growth around the edges. Avoid top-mount or recessed sinks. Top-mount sinks are prone to mold, and recessed sinks are a major waste of money due to their difficult installation and the need for sealant.

3. For standard household use, SUS304 stainless steel is the best choice. It's cost-effective and durable. Avoid fragile ceramic sinks.

4. More features in a sink aren't necessarily better. More features mean more holes, increasing the risk of leaks. If you absolutely need a sink with these features, choose one with excellent sealing.

5. Avoid sinks with right-angled interiors. Choose sinks with rounded interiors and V-shaped drainage.

6. A sink with a water guide strip will drain water faster.

7. Choose a sink with an anti-condensation coating and sound-absorbing pad at the bottom. This will not only prevent moisture and mold but also reduce noise.

8. For those installing a garbage disposal and water purifier, make sure the faucet and drain positions are offset.

9. The sink depth must be at least 20 cm, otherwise water will easily splash everywhere.
